Happy Birthday!
AMA Book Club completed 1 full year on Saturday, 9/6/09. In 1 year we've read 15 novels (I'm of course counting all those Sherlock Holmes stories as just 1 book), and I'm glad to say that many of them were not books I ever would have picked on my own. Along the way I've also read several others that were recommended to me, and I'm very grateful to Melissa for suggesting that we start a little club.

Wow, congrats to us- we've actually stuck to it! 15 novels in 12 months isn't bad at all- especially when you consider how long we were stuck on Moby Dick and Sherlock Holmes. I've also read some suggested books- including all of Evanovich's books! Let's look forward to another full year.
And I thank you for allowing me to join as an "honorary" member rather than "charter member".
