The Girl Who Chased the Moon by Sarah Addison Allen

This looks like a light book, with a little bit of magic.

I was sick with a cold while I read this, so the little bit of magic made it nice. I enjoyed the plot, though I felt there was a lot left open. For example, more of the back story about her grandfather would have been nice. The writing was pleasant and I enjoyed the hints of magic, such as seeing the baking smells and glowing in the moonlight. B- I'll be interested to see what you think about the magical bits.

I did think it a little strange how fast Win's sister changed her tune about Emily. Oh, and why the bow tie for Win? That was never really explained either. So, in short, I enjoyed it, but would have liked more of it.

I enjoyed this book. I liked the story line. I wasn't sure where the changing wallpaper fit in, or what caused it to change. It was odd that Win's mother did not know about the glowing in the dark until his uncle disclosed it. You mean to say she was married all that time and never saw her husband at night when it happened? Not sure why the red bow tie either, but why not along with the other weird stuff. I enjoyed the ending.
