Characters Meeting Characters

If you could have a character(s) from one book meet a character(s) from another, who would you have meet up? In the first comment, I'll explain the impetus for this post.

Ken got "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" through Netflix and I watched it with him tonight. I didn't realize that it brought together so many of our old friends: Captain Nemo, Ishmael, and Dorian Gray! Additionally it had Mina Harker and Mr. Hyde. Of course, it didn't follow their ACTUAL storylines very quickly, but they were identifiable. Ken was amazed that I knew them all. That's part of being in a book club, right? :-)

Which got me thinking, if I could have any character from one book meet another, who would it be? First, I would like to get Sally Truslow and Fanny Hill together, I think they would get along splendidly and have lots to talk about! More to come as I think of them...

My very first impulse is Fanny Hill and Shirley - now there would be some interesting conversation! Shirley would say "Oh my", followed by "Oh my" and then again "Oh my".

I don't know about meeting Peter Pan, but I think Ralph would love Neverland. Between cowboys and Indians and general mischief, he would have had a blast. Although I'm sure he would have missed his parents, especially his father. Maybe just for a visit...

I think Lord Henry from The Picture of Dorian Grey would provide some sparkling conversation for Sherlock Holmes.

Also as Joy mentioned in one of the posts on Shanghai girls, it would be interesting to get May and Pearl together with Shirley, Caroline and perhaps Rukmani from Nectar so they could decide once and for all who has had the most depressing life EVAHR LIVED.

I'm sure Captain Ahab, Captain Nemo and Gulliver would have some great sea-faring stories to tell each other. It would be the fictional equivalent of Deadliest Catch.
