Labels + New Blog Title

I added a new feature to our little blog by labeling our posts. This makes it easy to view all of your own picks, all the "classic" literature, all the NPR junk, etc. with just a click! When you open a post on a new book you can apply an existing label by clicking "show all" by the Labels field on the bottom right of the text window. You can also create a new label if you'd like.

Ahh, technology!

Great title! And what a wonderful way to organize. Great work, A!

I must say Angie I love the organization, very nice job!!

M just likes the new title cuz it doesn't say "fookin Bronte", I do kind of miss that part.

I like the "recent comments" thing - that is great to keep track of who i saying what and where. I'm not missing ANYTHING now!

I'm a big fan of the "recent comments" section too. And yes, I am glad to get the "Fookin' Brontes" out of the title. :-) I like the fookin' Brontes, except for "Shirley".

WOW! Our blog changed again! I like our new tagline and how you've so cleverly included most of our new phrases into the header thingy. No reference to thighs, though. Fanny Hill would be disappointed.

Thanks M, glad you like it. I get tired of seeing the same old thing over and over. I was trying to think of all the phrases that I've picked up from our books, and those are the ones that I use almost daily. I also use "little brain attic" from Sherlock Holmes.

How about you?

12/29/2010 - Starting off 2011 with a new look and a new title. Hope you like it!

I really like the new title and look, but find it a little harder to read (until I get to the "commenting" page anyway).

Looks great Angie!

M, you're right. It looks really good on my work computer and phone, but from my home computer it's difficult. The difference is at work the gray background is opaque while here at home it's transparent. I'll try to fix that in the code this weekend.

Is that what makes it hard to read?

I like it!

The background on my computer is gray.

PWM said...

A- you fixed the problem, now it is solid gray and much easier to read. THanks!

WOW. The new background really pops! Thanks for keeping it fresh, A. Also, I like that you put the picking order at the top!

M, I knew you would like the book rotation. I got tired of trying to keep track in my head or always looking back through to see who picked when. =)

Also, as you can see, I figured out how to change the background image =) If it's too busy or hard to read just let me know.

Wow, I go away for a couple of days and wondered if I was on the wrong site.
Your book looks good T, hope I'm not missing too much in forty days!

Hard to put this book down. I definitely do not like the mother. Hope she redeems herself in my thoughts before I finish the book. This book was made into a movie. Wonder how closely it followed the book.
